Dear Parent,
We are excited to tell you that this year we are having the Pure Life program for your child! This is a program designed and prayed over to help guide your child in making right choices. It is not a sex education class!
The motives are 1) to help them realize the sanctity of purity, and 2) to open up lines of communication between you and your child.
We conducted a Pure Life program 2 years ago and felt like it was a wonderful time for families to bond and kids to start taking a stand for purity!
Here’s how it works…We have two Sunday evenings of Pure Life sessions. They last about 1 ½ hours. There will be testimonies from young adults, older adults and teens who have completed the program. We will have scripture memorization and pledges to absorb.
The second week will include an etiquette class, split in gender groups. While they are in class, you, the parent will be having a special question and answer time…kind of a support group. Don’t be afraid…last year was a beautiful time together!
The last meeting will be our Pledge Dinner. This is a very special time, a time of commitment, between you and your child. Some parents like to give a token, like a ring or necklace, to their children as a sign of this commitment. This year is it taking place on Valentine’s Day, and I can’t think of anything more appropriate!
We are inviting all 5th and 6th graders to attend. The dates are:

And then a “Pledge Dinner” on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14th at Stone Creek Restaurant in Plainfield.
This is a sacrifice of time for you, I know. But I promise you it will be worth it in the end! Your children are your most valuable commodity. INVEST this time in them!
